Designing the Future of Insurance

As part of a cross-disciplinary team, I was tasked with reimagining the future of insurance for an anonymous insurance company client. The objective was to create a possible future customer journey by researching current customer experiences and industry trends. Our team focused on the customer persona, following their experience with their car insurance through life-changing situations, such as a fender bender and a new car purchase.

As the visual designer on the project, I led the development of visuals for the customer journey, website launch, and multiple print assets used in presentations with the client. One of the unique aspects of this project was the opportunity to work closely with the client's visual design team. We shared assets, brand guidelines, and extended their brand to a futuristic look that aligned with our concept.

The final result was a comprehensive and engaging customer journey that highlighted how insurance could be more personalized and less daunting for customers. Our project impressed the client, leading them to order more work from the agency to test this concept further.

Overall, the project allowed us to challenge conventional thinking around insurance and demonstrated how a design-led approach can create meaningful and impactful solutions that resonate with customers.
