For a local bride and groom, I was tasked with creating wedding invitations and a keepsake recipe book. The couple desired a design that incorporated the Sycamore leaf, as both were natives of Sycamore, Illinois. For the recipe book, both families contributed their favorite home-cooked meals which I organized and designed into a cohesive, personalized book that utilized the wedding color palette and extended the theme for over 20 pages. This keepsake book serves as a memorable reminder of their special day and the beginning of their new life together.
“Sarah, thank you so much for all of this. I can't express how thankful I am...just perfect”

I collaborated with Bleu Palette art studio to upgrade their web design and branding for in-store signage and social media. I worked to create a new page on their website that displays a comprehensive view of the paint class offerings, making it easier for customers and teachers alike to access the information they need. Bleu Palette also needed to extend their fun brand identity into their physical space. To address this, we worked together to create fun and eye-catching signage to display throughout the gallery and studio with instructions for customers. We also added a touch of whimsy to their in-store product displays with fun characters, bringing the gallery's brand to life and creating a memorable experience for customers. This translated to their social media as well. With these changes, Bleu Palette is able to better showcase their offerings and create a cohesive brand experience across their website, social media, and physical store. This project allowed me to use my skills in visual design to create a unique and effective solution for a local small business.

As a member of a cross-discipline team, I solve complex design challenges and drive outcomes, including design research and customer insights, to prototyping and presentations.
Here are a few examples of my work mapping experience journeys. Often times, our design research would include interviews, shadowing, and even a few gamified group sessions to gather information. As the visual designer, my goal was to translate our team's findings into a digestible, palatable view that our client may understand and share out to continue their innovations.
Each individual project was tailored to existing brand standards for each client. The samples provided here have been scrubbed.
